In September 2017 our lightly fried, cheese and potato Pierogi Polish dumplings won the hearts of the Mayor of Stratford and Her community as we were voted the Winner of the Stratford Food Festival Taste Trail
For those with a discerning sweet tooth we can highly recommend our homemade vegan brownie and melt in the mouth scones both to Aga's own special recipe. Complementing this range are best sellers such as Dime cake, local Blackmans Bakery’s muffins and Handmade millionaire shortbread.
Why not find some ‘me time’ and pop in to relax, listen to great music and enjoy freshly prepared food with real panache and some of the best coffees and teas in Stratford…..far from madding crowds….
GROW YOUR OWN.......
For those wishing to visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage or the Church of the Holy Trinity in Stratford upon Avon, you shouldn’t miss the chance to visit Vigour Café. Located near to the Bell Court shopping centre and the American Fountain on Rother Street.
Running a business isn’t easy when you have two little monkeys who miss their mummy. Life has become one: cooking, baking, planning, ordering, painting and decorating... race to bring the cafe back to life…. So progress has been difficult..
However, as our goal is to offer great tea and coffee along with really delicious, freshly prepared homemade food for eat in or take out. You can munch on our exceptionally tasty English and vegetarian breakfasts served every day, a selection of jumbo sized breakfast baps, freshly made sandwiches, hot panini, soups, and of course our very special meaty Hunters stew.
We love growing our own vegetables and herbs. We have got a great allotment and a greenhouse where we grow vegetables according to organic methods to avoid using pesticides and herbicides. In the autumn we do our own pickles, pizza sauces from homegrown tomatoes or simply freeze the surplus harvest ready for the winter.
